OUR SERVICES
Baby Basics is dedicated to providing comprehensive services for both new and seasoned parents, including newborn education classes and private postpartum care by an expert registered nurse. Our goal is to support and empower families during this special time by offering personalized care and essential resources.

Baby Basics Class
Baby Basics is a class to inform expecting parents of all the "basics" in bringing home and caring for a newborn. Whether you are expecting for the first time or a seasoned parent needing a refresher, you will gain confidence through valuable education from our Registered Neonatal Nurse, and all of her favorite tips and tricks used throughout her career. This class is usually scheduled around 35 weeks or a time agreed upon by both parties. By this time most families have already gathered the majority of baby supplies and equipment they will be using. We will use your baby supplies to aid in review and demonstration on the topics that are covered in this class.

Baby Basics
Welcome Home Class
After the whirlwind of delivery, excitement of your little one’s arrival, and exhaustion from lack of sleep, all of your preparation may seem foggy. Our Registered Neonatal Nurse will provide in-depth education on all topics discussed in our Baby Basics Class and personalize them to your newborn. This class is reserved with your due date and then scheduled shortly after delivery or discharge to begin easing into the transition phase as soon as possible.

Baby Basic Bundle
& Nurse Access
Bundle both Baby Basics Classes and gain Nurse Access for continuous support and education. Each class will increase confidence in your ability to care for your newborn. In addition, you will have the extra support of our licensed medical professional, who will be available to address unexpected concerns and questions along the way from birth through the first three months.

Private Postpartum Nurse Services
Private Postpartum Nurse Services provide intensive support and hands-on help to both mother and newborn. Your private nurse will also assist in maintaining the well being of the family as a whole through family centered care. Individualized care and guidance will be developed for both mother and newborn. Families will feel well supported and guided so they can focus on rest and recovery and the joyful days of bringing home their precious baby. As a reference point, many families request private nurse care for 3-4 days a week for 6-8 weeks. However, services can be scheduled and personalized to meet the needs of your family.

Four Hour Minimum Required for Private Postpartum Nurse Services:

Monday-Friday 9am-9pm-$55/hour
Weekend/Holiday 9am-9pm-$65/hour

The following services are provided with your private postpartum care:

Vital Signs and Physical Assessment

Your Private Nurse will check your vital signs and those of your baby to ensure all are within normal limits.

A limited physical assessment will be completed on both mother and baby in the comfort of your own home.

You will have a trained medical professional present to assist in notifying your medical providers if anything is outside of normal postpartum or newborn parameters.

NICU Transition & Elevated Care
Bringing your baby home from the NICU can be both joyful and overwhelming. To ease the transition, Baby Basics provides professional support from our Registered Neonatal Nurse and offers specialized in-home care for families adjusting to life after discharge. Whether your baby has complex medical needs or you simply need reassurance as you adjust, we provide hands-on guidance, safe care practices, and emotional support tailored to your unique situation. This service bridges the gap between hospital discharge and confident caregiving at home - helping families feel secure, supported, and not alone during this delicate time.

Tiny Hearts CPR & First Aid
Our Infant CPR & First Aid class is a hands-on, in-home course designed to equip parents, grandparents, and caregivers with the essential skills to respond confidently in the event of an emergency. Whether you're preparing for your first baby or refreshing your knowledge, this personalized class equips your entire support team with lifesaving knowledge and skills to increase preparedness to face unfortunate emergencies head-on.
